Al Qudra Elite Emergency Shelter is fully compliant with UAE Civil Defence requirements. The facility is a certified shelter with all permits and licences obtained in line with UAE law (Federal Law No. 23/2006), meaning your refuge is recognised by the official authorities.
The shelter is built from monolithic, steel‑reinforced concrete with wall thickness of at least 0.5 m and military‑grade airtight doors and valve systems. Space planning follows FEMA guidelines with a minimum of 10 sq ft per person and a ceiling height of 6.5 ft or more.
All supply and exhaust air passes through certified NBC filters from leading manufacturers such as Andair (Switzerland). The system is designed for 72+ hours of autonomous operation, with CO₂ management, medical‑grade oxygen reserves and emergency air kits.
Redundant diesel generators and UPS systems provide up to 200 kW of power, complemented by solar panels with battery storage. Fuel and consumable reserves are sized for several weeks of autonomous living, while water reservoirs and purification deliver at least 200 L per person per day to international hygiene standards.
The medical room is equipped for emergency care and operation in full isolation mode.
The shelter offers satellite internet, a fixed satellite phone, backup HF/VHF radios and secure Wi‑Fi. A central SCADA/BMS system continuously monitors climate, power, filtration and external conditions.
